Onderzoek van het CBS wijst uit dat de helft van alle volwassen Nederlanders last van overgewicht heeft. Maar liefst 14% van deze groep heeft ernstig overgewicht, oftewel obesitas. Deze cijfers zijn schrikbarend hoog. En daarmee ook van grote invloed op de algehele volksgezondheid in ons land.
